Tenders are invited for Consultancy for prosper cashew project gender and social inclusion assessment The objective of this consultancy is to conduct a gender and social inclusion assessment that helps Prosper Cashew understand the current gender and other disadvantaged group dynamics among the project’s targeted beneficiaries and provide the project with a roadmap for supporting economic empowerment of women and other disadvantaged groups during the implementation and monitoring of the project. The gender assessment will identify the constraints and opportunities facing women and men at the processing level of the value chain to participate in and benefit from a growing cashew sector, with a particular focus on women and men as owners/founders, managers, and employees of cashew processing firms and support businesses. A strong understanding of the project’s design and M&E plan is important to understanding the areas where the project will have influence and the appropriate strategies for advancing women’s economic empowerment.
