The required prior work experience for the bidder includes:
* For normal Highway projects, the bidder should have completed at least one similar work of 20% of the Estimated Project Cost (Rs.1.85 crore) in the last 10 financial years preceding the Bid Due Date.
* For Major Bridge/ROB/Flyover/Tunnel projects, the bidder should have completed at least one similar project with a span of 50% of the longest span or 100m, whichever is less, of the structure proposed in this project.
* For Tunnel projects, the bidder should have completed at least one similar project with 50% of the cross-sectional area of the proposed tunnel or two-lane highway tunnel cross-sectional area, whichever is less, and 20% length of the tunnel to be constructed in this project or 2 km, whichever is less.
* For Stand-alone specialized projects, such as Major Bridges/ROB/Flyovers, the bidder should have completed at least one similar project of length minimum 105m in the last 5 financial years preceding the Bid Due Date, with a span equal to or greater than 50% of the longest span or 100m, whichever is less, of the structure proposed in this project, and the cost of such similar project should be at least 20% of the Estimated Project Cost.
The values and percentages mentioned include:
* 20% of the Estimated Project Cost (Rs.1.85 crore)
* 50% of the longest span or 100m, whichever is less
* 50% of the cross-sectional area of the proposed tunnel or two-lane highway tunnel cross-sectional area, whichever is less
* 20% length of the tunnel to be constructed in this project or 2 km, whichever is less
* 90% completion of the value of work
* 20% of the Estimated Project Cost for similar projects.
Additionally, the bidder should have prior work experience in construction of Eligible Project(s) with a sum total of more than Rs. 9.27 crore. A project is considered completed if more than 90% of the value of work has been completed and the completed value of work is equal to or more than 20% of the estimated project cost.
