The city of Luckenwalde, together with the city marketing association, wants to strengthen and further develop the Luckenwalde city center with the areas of the market, boulevard and Käthe-Kollwitz-Straße. Various measures were developed as part of a marketing concept to achieve this goal. An important point was identified as increasing the attractiveness and improving the quality of stay in public spaces. To this end, LED outdoor lighting is to be procured as part of a negotiated award without a competitive tender in accordance with Section 30 Paragraph 3 Komhkv in conjunction with Section 12 Paragraph 2 Uvgo. The project is funded by the Federal Ministry for Housing, Urban Development and Building as part of the "Sustainable City Centers and Centres" program.
