The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed specific categories of work(s) during the last 07 years. These categories include: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. The work experience certificate from government organizations or public listed companies with an average annual turnover of Rs 500 crore and above in the last 3 financial years is accepted. For works costing more than Rs.50 Lakhs, the tenderer must have a minimum average annual contractual turnover. The bidder should submit information regarding works completed in the last seven years. Certificates and testimonials regarding contracting/technical experience for the type of job for which the tender is invited are also required. In case of more than one L-1 bidders, tender may be awarded to tenderer having higher bid capacity or more value of similar work in last three previous financial years and the current financial year up to the date of opening of tender. The contractor should deploy qualified engineers at work sites, with specific requirements based on the value of the contract, such as one qualified Graduate Engineer when the cost of the work is Rs. 200 lakhs and above, and one qualified Diploma holder Engineer when the cost of the work to be executed is more than Rs.25 lakhs but less than Rs.200 lakhs. The percentages of similar works completed are 30%, 40%, and 60% of the advertised value of the tender for the respective categories. The amounts include 30% of the advertised value for three similar works, 40% of the advertised value for two similar works, and 60% of the advertised value for one similar work.
