Southern Railway Tender

The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed specific categories of work(s) during the last 07 (seven) years. These categories include: (i) Three similar works costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, or (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For composite works, the requirements are similar, with the tenderer needing to have completed: (i) Three similar works costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (ii) Two similar works costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, or (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. Additionally, subcontractors must have completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years, unless the subletting work costs up to Rs 50 lakh, in which case no prior experience is required. The bidder should also provide a list of works completed in the last three financial years, including details such as description of work, organization, approximate value, and dates. Furthermore, the tenderer must have a minimum average annual contractual turnover, calculated based on the advertised value of the tender and the number of years prescribed for completion of work.
