Tenders are invited for Rahotu Water Treatment Plant Clarifier Replacement The work is located at the Rahotu Water Treatment Plant, Greens Lane, Rahotu in South Taranaki. STDC is renewing the Clarifier at the Rahotu Water Treatment Plant in South Taranaki. The Clarifier has now exceeded the intended life and needs to be replaced. A new pond for de-sludging the new Settler is also required. This project involves the following: ? Vegetation clearance. ? Removal of existing PVC pipes, structures and concrete foundation pad. ? Construction of a new concrete foundation pad and engineered granular fill ? The transportation and installation of an existing (new) Clarifier currently being stored at the Kapuni Water Treatment plant. ? Supply and Installation of a new access ladder and platform Installation of the water pipe and hose outlet, and shade-cloth on new Clarifier. ? New above ground and below ground piping. ? Excavation of a new detention pond. ? Re-construction of the existing metal ladder on the Clarifier to an escape ladder from the new pond. ? Supply and installation of new fencing. Reuse of existing fencing. ? Temporary relocation and reinstatement of newly planted trees to allow access of heavy machinery.
