The required prior work experience for the bidder includes substantially completed work or completed work. The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In the case of composite works, the bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. For subcontractors, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor shall be asked for. A substantially completed work is an ongoing work in which payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value has been made to the contractor. The credential certificate for substantially completed work should have been issued not prior to 60 days of the date of invitation of the present tender. The overall cost, including the price variation amount, of the completed work or substantially completed work, shall be considered for the purpose of fulfillment of technical credentials. No separate evaluation for each component of that work shall be made to decide eligibility. In case of more than one L-1 bidders, the tender may be awarded to the tenderer having higher Bid Capacity. If Bid Capacity is also the same, the tenderer having done more value of similar work in the last three previous financial years and the current financial year up to the date of opening of the tender, may be selected for the award. However, specific values or percentages of similar works completed are not mentioned.
