The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed certain categories of work(s) during the last 07 years. The required prior work experience includes: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For composite works, the tenderer must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. A substantially completed work is defined as an ongoing work in which payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value (excluding the payment made for adjustment of Price variation) has been made to the contractor. In case of newly formed partnership firms, the credentials of individual partners from previous proprietary firms or dissolved previous partnership firms or split previous partnership firms shall be considered only to the extent of their share in the previous entity on the date of dissolution/split and their share in the newly formed partnership firm. For evaluation, the overall cost including the PVC amount (if paid) of that completed work or substantially completed work shall be considered. The value of similar work done in the last three previous financial years and the current financial year will be considered in case of multiple L-1 bidders. The subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor shall be asked for.
