South Central Railway Tender

The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed specific categories of work(s) during the last 07 years. The required prior work experience includes: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In case of tenders for composite works, the bidder must have completed: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (iii) One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. The definition of similar work is any Civil Engineering Works (excluding Track works/Zonal works). Additionally, the bidder must have minimum average annual contractual turnover of V/N or V, whichever is less, where V = Advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees and N = Number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited. The bidder is also required to submit a list of works completed in the last three financial years, giving description of work, organization for whom executed, approximate value of contract at time of award, date of award, and date of completion. The mentioned values and percentages of similar works completed are: - 30% of the advertised value of the tender (for three similar works) - 40% of the advertised value of the tender (for two similar works) - 60% of the advertised value of the tender (for one similar work)
