The required prior work experience for the bidder includes work experience certificates issued by any Government Organization or a Public listed company having an average annual turnover of Rs 500 crore and above in the last 3 financial years. The tenderer must have successfully completed or substantially completed any of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, or (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In case of a Joint Venture (JV), the bid capacity of each member is considered, and the arithmetic sum of individual "bid capacity" of all the members is taken as the JV's "bid capacity". The value of a completed work/work in progress/work awarded but yet not started for a member in an earlier JV shall be reckoned only to the extent of the concerned member's share in that JV. For subletting of work, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. The work experience certificate should be issued by a person authorized by the Public listed company to issue such certificates and should be supported by documents such as the work order, bill of quantities, and payment details. The bidder should submit a list of completed works and works on hand, and confirm that they have not made any misleading or false representation in the forms, statements, and attachments in proof of the qualification requirements.
