South Central Railway Tender

The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed specific categories of work(s) during the last 07 years. The required prior work experience includes: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In case of tenders for composite works, the bidder must have completed: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (iii) One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. Similar work is defined as any Civil Engineering Works (excluding Track works/Zonal works). The bidder needs to submit an attested copy of the Experience Certificate to prove their prior work experience. Additionally, the tenderer must have a minimum average annual contractual turnover, calculated as an average of "total contractual payments" in the previous three financial years. However, specific details on the calculation formula are provided, which is V/N or V, whichever is less, where V = Advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees, and N = Number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited.
