This Request For Proposals (the “rfp”) Is An Invitation By The Saskatchewan Power Corporation (“saskpower”) To Prospective Proponents To Submit Proposals For The Provision Of Moving Installation & Related Services, As Further Described In The Rfp Particulars (appendix A) (the “ Work”). Saskpower Is A Saskatchewan Crown Corporation Continued Under The Power Corporation Act (saskatchewan).  It Is Principally Responsible For The Generation, Transmission And Distribution Of Electricity For Most Of Saskatchewan. Under The Direction Of Saskpower’s Properties And Shared Services Department, The Contractor Shall Provide Moving And Installation Services For Furniture, Fixtures, And Related Office Equipment (“ff&e”) Such As Assembly, Disassembly, Delivery, Installation, And Relocation; And Perform Related Services As Detailed Below Such As Supporting Saskpower’s Space Management Team In Managing Saskpower’s Furniture Warehouse, Inventory, And Related Warehouse Administrative Services.  Saskpower Has Over 150 Facilities Located Throughout The Province Of Saskatchewan. In Addition, Saskpower May Call For Work To Be Performed At Non-saskpower Owned Facilities. For Safety And Security Purposes, There May Be Specific Site Requirements Which The Contractor Must Follow. These Site Requirements May Include The Use Of Specific Personal Protective Equipment, Site Access Training As Well As Access Security Compliance Or Asbestos Procedures.
