Saskpower Is Requesting Proposals For The Provision Of Actuarial Consulting Services. Within A Typical Calendar Year, There Are Specific Tasks The Actuary Will Be Required To Perform And There May Be Ad-hoc Tasks Required At The Direction Of Saskpower.  

This Request For Proposals (the “rfp”) Is An Invitation By The Saskatchewan Power Corporation (“saskpower”) To Prospective Proponents To Submit Proposals For The Provision Of Dewdney Substation Expansion, As Further Described In The Rfp Particulars (appendix A) (the “ Work”). Saskpower Is A Saskatchewan Crown Corporation Continued Under The Power Corporation Act (saskatchewan). It Is Principally Responsible For The Generation, Transmission, And Distribution Of Electricity For Most Of Saskatchewan. The Contractor Shall Supply All Labour, Material, Equipment, Tools, And Supervision Necessary To Complete The Substation Expansion At The Dewdney Substation. The Expansion Includes But Is Not Limited To The Installation Of Below Grade Grounding, Supply And Installation Of Foundations, Supply And Installation Of Below Grade Ducting, Supply And Installation Of Fencing And Associated Grounding, And Site Preparation. The Expansion Is To The North Of The Existing Substation.

The Scope Of Work Is To Provide Saskpower With Structure Maintenance To 308 Structures On The C1b Transmission Line Which Includes Hardware Tightening, Shield Wire Insulator Removal, Damper Replacement, Ground Wire Maintenance, Guy Guard Replacement And Other Tasks To Extend Asset Life.
