The required prior work experience for the bidder includes work performed as a prime contractor or sub-contractor on construction works of a similar nature and volume over the last five years. The bidder needs to provide information on project details, financial reports for the last five years, and a certificate from a Chartered Accountant. The bidder must have satisfactorily completed, as prime contractor or sub-contractor, at least one similar work of value not less than 30% of the amount put to bid (excluding maintenance cost for five years). Additionally, the bidder needs to provide the total annual volume of civil engineering construction work executed and payments received in the last five years preceding the year in which bids are invited, with values stated in lakhs (Rs. in lakhs). A certificate from a Chartered Accountant is required to verify this information. The bidder is also required to undertake to carry out the works of Routine Maintenance for five years after the completion date as per the rates offered by the Employer in the bid document. The value of similar works completed should be mentioned, and the bidder should have experience in works of a similar nature and volume. The bid security (EMD) amount is 2% of an unspecified amount, which is Rs. 9.61. The cost of bid documents is Rs. 10,000.00 for bids costing more than Rs. 50 lakh and Rs. 5,000 for bids between Rs. 50 lakh to Rs. 15 lakh. The percentage of similar works completed is at least 30% of the amount put to bid, and the amount is excluding maintenance cost for five years.
