The bidder is required to have prior work experience as a prime contractor or sub-contractor on construction works of a similar nature and volume over the last five years. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed, as prime contractor or sub-contractor, at least one similar work of value not less than 30% of the amount put to bid (excluding maintenance cost for five years). The bidder should have experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years. The bidder can propose subcontracting of components of the works for construction/up-gradation, aggregating to not more than 25 percent of the Contract Price. The bidder needs to provide a certificate from the Engineer-in-charge for the work performed as prime contractor or sub-contractor on construction works of a similar nature and volume over the last five years. The bidder should also provide information on the total monetary value of civil construction works performed for each of the last five years.
