Rural Works Department Tender

The required prior work experience for the bidder includes proof of completion of similar works during the last 5 years. The bidder needs to provide information on work performed as a prime contractor, including the year, name of work, name of employer, description of work, value of contract, and other details. For tender amounts more than 2.5 cr, the bidder should have completed similar nature of works with a value of at least 50% of the tender amount. The bidder should also have an annual turnover of at least 2.5 times the tender amount in the last five financial years, with at least 50% of the turnover coming from civil construction works. Additionally, the bidder should have completed at least three similar projects in the last five years, with a minimum value of 30% of the tender amount for each project. The bidder should also have a minimum of 50% of the total work in hand, excluding the current bid. To qualify for the award of the contract, each bidder should have satisfactorily completed at least one work of similar nature of value not less than 50% of the estimated value of the work tendered in the last five years preceding the year in which the tender is invited, with a completion of not less than 90% as a prime contractor or duly authorized sub-contractor by the Employer. The bidder should also have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of 60% of the estimated value of the work tendered in the last five years for tender amounts more than 2.5 cr. The value and percentage of similar works completed are mentioned as 50% of the tender amount for tender amounts more than 2.5 cr, 30% of the tender amount for each of the three similar projects, and 90% completion as a prime contractor or duly authorized sub-contractor by the Employer.
