The bidder should have experience in similar works, with a minimum requirement of having performed works as a prime contractor or subcontractor on construction works of a similar nature and value over the last five years. The bidder should provide certificates from the concerned employer or client, and the value of the works performed should be mentioned. Specifically, the bidder should provide information on the monetary values of turnover and civil construction works performed for each of the last five years. The available bid capacity of the bidder will be calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five financial years, updated at the rate of 8% per year to the price level of the preceding financial year in which bids are invited. The bidder's experience and resources will be evaluated based on the value of existing commitments and ongoing works to be completed during the period of completion of initial rectification, including surface renewal works for which bids are invited. The bidder must also demonstrate having completed similar works, with a value that will be taken into account for the calculation of the available bid capacity. The bidder should have an Assessed Available Bid capacity (ANMB) which is more than the estimated contract value, excluding the five-year maintenance cost. The bidder should provide proposals for sub-contracting, which should not exceed 28 percent of the contract price.
