The required prior work experience for the bidder includes work performed as a prime contractor or sub-contractor on construction works of a similar nature and volume over the last five years. The bidder needs to provide information on projects completed, including project name, employer, description of work, contract value, and completion dates. For similar works completed, the bidder should have satisfactorily completed at least one similar work of value not less than 30% of the amount put to bid, excluding maintenance cost for five years. Additionally, the bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of 60% of the amount put to bid, with at least 50% of which being from civil engineering construction works. The bidder should also have experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years. The bidder needs to provide details of works in progress or contractually committed, along with certificates from the concerned officer. The total monetary value of civil construction works performed for each of the last five years should also be provided. The bidder should have evidence of access to lines of credit and availability of other financial resources/facilities, which is 20 percent of the contract value, certified by a banker. The experience certificate for similar work should be considered for the period starting from 5 years preceding the year of bid invitation, with the cut-off date being the last date of the month before the last date of receipt of the tender.
