The bidder should have experience in works of a similar nature and volume over the last five years. They should have satisfactorily completed, as a prime contractor, at least one similar work equal in value to one-third of the estimated cost of the work for which the bid is invited. The bidder should have achieved a minimum financial turnover of at least the amount equal to the estimated cost of works for which the bid has been invited, with at least 50% of which is from Civil Engineering construction works. The value of similar work completed should be equal to one-third of the package value, excluding maintenance cost. The percentage of turnover from Civil Engineering construction works should be at least 50% in any one year in the last five years, with a volume equal to 100% of the estimated value of work updated to the current price level. The bidder needs to submit a certificate of work experience, which should include details such as the date of start, due date of completion, actual date of completion, actual value of final payment, contract bond number, and amount of contract bond, issued by not below the rank of Executive Engineer. The required prior work experience includes a minimum annual financial turnover, with at least 50% from Civil Engineering construction works, and the turnover will be indexed at the rate of 8 percent per year.
