The required prior work experience for the bidder is that they should have successfully completed similar construction work, and they should submit an experience certificate as per the prescribed format. The experience should be in civil engineering works of similar nature completed during the last three financial years. The value and percentage of similar works completed are mentioned as not less than 50% of the contract value, and the bidder should have satisfactorily completed civil engineering work of a similar nature as a prime contractor. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of 152.15 Lac in the last three years, which is usually not less than 60 percent of the estimated cost of the project. Additionally, the bidder should have completed similar works with a value that can be verified through certificates from Government/Semi Government departments, and the Bill of Quantity (BoQ) should have a 10% variation. The bidder should also undertake to invest a minimum cash up to 10% of the contract value of work during implementation, which is approximately 25.36 Lac for the line of credit.
