The required prior work experience for the bidder is experience in civil engineering works of similar nature completed during the last three financial years. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed civil engineering work of a similar nature (not less than 50% of the contract value) as a prime contractor. Additionally, they should have completed civil work of a value not less than the amount indicated in the Appendix (usually not less than 50% of the estimated value of the contract) in the last three years. The bidder should also have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of 172.98 Lac in any one year, which is usually not less than 60 percent of the estimated cost of the project. The experience certificate should be in a prescribed format and issued by a Government/Semi Government department.
