The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completion of bridge construction works of similar nature and magnitude. The bidder should have completed works as a prime contractor on bridge construction works, with certificates from the competent authority to support this claim. The value of the similar work completed should be at least 50% of the value of the work put to tender, with a value of at least 179.48 lakhs. The annual minimum financial turnover of the Applicant in any one of the preceding Five years should be more than 50% of the estimated value, which is 179.48 lakhs. The minimum cumulative financial turnover in the last Five years should be 150% of the estimated value, which is 538.43 lakhs. The bidder should have completed similar bridgeworks costing more than Rs. Lakhs under a single agreement in the preceding five years. The bidder should have been in the Civil Engineering Construction field for at least the past Five years and completed satisfactorily at least one "bridge" work of similar nature with a value not less than 50% of the value put to tender. The bidder should have a Site Engineer with B.E., (Civil) Degree in Civil Engineering or Diploma holders in Civil Engineering with minimum field experience. Graduate Engineers should include one B.E., (Civil) or equivalent Degree holder with Five years experience or not less than one Retired Sub-Divisional Officer (Assistant Executive Engineer, Or Assistant Divisional Engineer) Plus two Diploma Holders in Civil Engineering or two Retired Junior Engineers. For works valued between Rs.10.00 Lakhs to 25.00 Lakhs, the bidder should have one B.E., (Civil) or equivalent Degree holder with Five years experience in Civil Engineering works, or not less than one Retired Sub-Divisional Officers plus one Diploma Holder in Civil Engineering or Two Diploma Holder in Civil Engineering with Five and five years experience respectively. For works valued between Rs.25.00 lakhs to Rs.50.00 lakhs, the bidder should have one B.E., (Civil) or equivalent Degree holder with Five years experience or not less than one Retired Sub-Divisional Officer (Assistant Executive Engineer, Or Assistant Divisional Engineer) Plus two Diploma Holders in Civil Engineering or two Retired Junior Engineers. The bidder should also have one B.E., (Civil) or equivalent degree holder with Five years experience or not less than one Retired Sub Divisional Officer (AEE or ADE) plus one more BE (Civil) or equivalent Degree Holder.
