The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having satisfactorily completed at least one road work of similar nature with a value not less than Rs. 107.00 Lakh under a single agreement in any one of the preceding three years. The bidder should furnish details of major road works and other civil works completed during the past five years. For the position of B.E Civil (or) equivalent Degree holder, 5 years of experience (or) not less than two retired Sub Divisional Officer (Assistant Executive Engineer or Assistant Divisional Engineer) is required. For Diploma holders in Civil Engineering, 2 years of experience (or) retired Junior Engineers is required. Alternatively, for Graduate Engineers, the experience required is three years or not less than one Retired Sub-Divisional Officer (Assistant Executive Engineer, Or Assistant Divisional Engineer). The value of the work completed should be at least 50% of the value of the work put to tender in a single contract, with a threshold of Rs. 107.00 lakhs for similar road works. The bidder is also required to have a minimum annual financial turnover of more than Rs. 319.00 Lakh in any one of the preceding three years. In terms of penalty for delay, the bidder will be penalized with 1% of the value of the defaulted quantity if the delay is beyond 60 days, 2% of the value of the defaulted quantity if the delay is beyond 120 days, and 3% of the value of the defaulted quantity if the delay is beyond 180 days. If the delay is more than 90 days beyond 6 months, the work order will be cancelled, the security deposit shall be forfeited, and the contractor will be blacklisted.
