The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of bridge works of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works means those works which are at least 90% completed. The value of similar works completed should be at least 40 percent of the proposed contract value, and the percentage of completion should be at least 90%. The bidder should have a consistent history of completing similar works and should not have a record of poor performance. In the case of a joint venture, the lead partner must meet not less than 50 percent of all criteria, and the joint venture must collectively satisfy the criteria. The experience of the other joint venture partners shall be considered if it is not less than 30 percent of the qualifying criteria. The estimated project cost should be 50 Crore and above for joint ventures, and the bidder should invest a minimum cash up to 25% of the value of the work during implementation of the contract. The bidder should also have a minimum annual financial turnover in any one year, over the last five years, of the annual value of the contract applied for. The performance security required is 5% of the contract price. The bidder should provide information on the value of contracts completed, including the date of issue of the work order, stipulated period of completion, actual date of completion, and remarks explaining reasons for delay and work completed. The bidder should also provide information on the quantities of work performed, including cement concrete, masonry, earthworks, and bituminous work, for each year from 2020-2021 to 2024-2025. Additionally, the bidder should provide information on their bid capacity, including existing commitments and ongoing works.
