The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. The works should be at least 90% completed, with a gross value of work done up to the last date of submission being 90% or more of the original contract price. The required prior work experience for the bidder includes executing all main items of work described in the bid documents, provided that all other qualification criteria are satisfied. The experience should be in works of a similar nature over the last five years and in the current year before the submission of the bid. The value of similar works completed should be at least 90% of the original contract price to be considered as substantially completed. The percentage of similar works completed is 90%. The bidder should also have experience as a prime contractor or nominated sub-contractor, provided the sub-contract involved execution of all main items of work described in the bid document. The bidder should provide information on the total value of civil engineering constructions work performed in the last five years, and details of specific projects completed, including the value of the contract, date of issue of work order, stipulated period of completion, and actual date of completion. Additionally, the bidder's annual financial turnover should be at least the annual value of the contract applied for, in any one year over the last five years. The bidder should also have a minimum cash investment of up to 25% of the value of the work during the implementation of the contract.
