The bidder is required to have prior work experience in civil engineering constructions. The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of similar work with a value of at least 40 percent of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90% completed. The bidder should have completed at least one contract with a value of at least 40 percent of the proposed contract value. For example, if the proposed contract value is Rs. 100 Crore, the bidder should have completed a contract of at least Rs. 40 Crore. The bidder needs to provide details of work performed, including project name, name of the employer, description of work, contract number, value of contract, and dates of completion. The bidder should also provide certificates from the engineer-in-charge for the completed works and a certificate from the employer incorporating the name of the work, contract value, billing amount, date of commencement of works, and satisfactory performance of the contractor. The value of similar works completed should be at least 40% of the proposed contract value, and the percentage of completion should be at least 90%. The values of work performed in the last five years are to be provided for each year.
