The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of road works of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. The works should be at least 90% completed as on the date of submission. The bidder can have acquired this experience as a prime contractor, or as a member of a joint venture, or as a nominated sub-contractor. In case of a joint venture, the experience would be given weight in proportion to their financial participation. The value of similar works completed should be at least 40% of the proposed contract value, and the amount and percentage of similar works completed should be certified by the employer, including the name of the work, contract value, billing amount, and date of commencement of works. The lead partner in a joint venture should meet not less than 50 percent of all criteria, and other joint venture partners' experience would be considered if it is not less than 30 percent of the qualifying criteria.
