The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works means those works which are at least 90% completed. The bidder should submit a certificate from the employer incorporating clearly the name of the work, contract value, billing amount, date of commencement of works, satisfactory performance of the contractor, and any other relevant information. The value and percentage of similar works completed are specified as at least 40% of the value of the proposed contract, and the works should be at least 90% completed. Additionally, the bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of the annual value of contract/contracts applied for in any one year over the last five years. The bidder is also required to provide information on the quantity of work performed, including cement concrete, masonry, earthworks, and bituminous work, for the last five years. The bidder should provide this information in a table format, including the year, name of the work, name of the employer, quantity of work performed, and remarks. Furthermore, the bidder is required to provide evidence of access to financial resources to meet the qualification requirements, including cash in hand, lines of credit, etc. The bidder should also provide the name, address, and telephone, telex, and fax numbers of their bankers who may provide references if contacted by the Employer. The firm would invest a minimum cash up to 25% of the value of the work during implementation of the contract.
