The bidder is required to have prior work experience in civil engineering constructions, with a total value of work performed in the last five years. Specifically, the bidder should have experience in works of a similar nature over the last five years. The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. The works should be at least 90 percent completed. In terms of specific values and percentages, the lead partner in a joint venture should meet at least 50% of all criteria, and the joint venture must collectively satisfy the criteria. The experience of other joint venture partners shall be considered if it is not less than 30% of the qualifying criteria. The bidder should have completed similar works in the last five years, with substantially completed works meaning those works which are at least 90 percent completed, and the gross value of work done is 90 percent or more of the original contract price.
