The bidder is required to have prior work experience in civil engineering constructions, specifically in works of a similar nature over the last five years. The total value of work performed in the last five years is considered. The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90% completed. The values of similar works completed are to be provided for the last five years and the current year before the submission of the bid. The bidder should have completed similar works with a value of at least 40% of the proposed contract value. For joint ventures, the lead partner shall meet not less than 50 percent of all criteria, and the joint venture must collectively satisfy the criteria. The experience of the other joint venture partners shall be considered if it is not less than 30 percent of the qualifying criteria.
