The bidder's prior work experience is considered based on work performed as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor, provided the sub-contract involved execution of all main items of work. The experience should be in works of a similar nature over the last five years and in the current year before the submission of the bid. The bidder should have completed works of a similar nature with a value that meets the qualification criteria. Specifically, they should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of similar work of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. The substantially completed works should be at least 90 percent completed. The bidder is required to provide information on the quantities of work executed, including cement concrete, masonry, earthworks, and bituminous work, and certificates from the Engineer(s)-in-charge to support their claims. They should also have a minimum annual financial turnover of the annual value of the contract applied for in any one year over the last five years.
