The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. The works should be at least 90% completed, with a gross value of work done up to the last date of submission being 90% or more of the original contract price. The bidder's prior work experience is considered, including work performed as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor, provided the sub-contract involved execution of all main items of work described in the bid document. The bidder must have completed similar works in the last five years and in the current year before the submission of the bid. The value of similar works completed should be at least 40 percent of the proposed contract. The percentage of completion for substantially completed works is 90% or more of the original contract price. Additionally, the bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover in any one year, over the last five years, of the annual value of contract/contracts applied for.
