The required prior work experience for the bidder is that they should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. The works should be at least 90% completed, with a gross value of work done up to the last date of submission being 90% or more of the original contract price, and continuing satisfactorily. The value of similar works completed should be at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract. The bidder should have completed at least one contract of a similar nature within the last five years. The percentage of similar works completed is at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract. Additionally, the bidder should have personnel with adequate experience as required, and the bidder should undertake their own studies and furnish with their bid, a detailed construction planning and methodology supported with layout and necessary drawings and calculations. The bidder should also provide information on their bid capacity, including existing commitments and ongoing works, with details of the description of works, place and state, contract number, and value of contract. The quantities of work executed as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor should also be provided, including the year, name of the work, name of the employer, and quantity of work performed, with details of cement concrete, masonry, earthworks, and bituminous work.
