The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in civil engineering constructions, specifically completing works of a similar nature over the last five years and in the current year before the submission of the bid. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of the annual value of the contract applied for in any one year over the last five years. The bidder should have experience in successfully completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. The work should be substantially completed, meaning at least 90% completed, and continuing satisfactorily. The value and percentage of similar works completed are as follows: - At least 40% of the proposed contract value - At least 90% of the original contract price - The bidder's annual financial turnover should be at least equal to the annual value of the contract applied for, which can be considered as 100% of the annual value of the contract applied for. The bidder should provide a certificate from the employer, including the name of the work, contract value, billing amount, date of commencement of works, satisfactory performance of the contractor, and any other relevant information. The lead partner in a joint venture must meet not less than 50 percent of all criteria, and the joint venture must collectively satisfy the criteria. The experience of the other joint venture partners shall be considered if it is not less than 30 percent of the qualifying criteria.
