The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having personnel with adequate experience as required. The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90% completed. The value and percentage of similar works completed is mentioned as at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract. Additionally, the bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of the annual value of the contract applied for in any one year over the last five years. The bidder should also have access to liquid assets up to 25 percent of the value of the contract. The bidder needs to provide information on the total value of civil engineering constructions performed in the last five years, work performed as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor, and quantities of work executed for each year over the last five years.
