The bidder is required to have prior work experience as a prime contractor or nominated sub-contractor, with the sub-contract involving execution of all main items of work described in the bid document. The experience should be in the last five years and in the current year before the submission of the bid. The bidder should provide information on the quantities of work executed, including Cement Concrete, Masonry, Earth Works, and Bituminous Work. They should also provide information on the value of contracts completed, including contract number, date of issue of work order, stipulated period of completion, and actual date of completion. In terms of value, the bidder should have completed works of a similar nature with a value of up to INR 50 Cr. The bidder should also provide information on their existing commitments and ongoing works, including the value of works remaining to be completed and the anticipated date of completion. The bidder should have experience in works of a similar nature, with a minimum value of Rs.50 lakhs, Rs.15 lakhs, or Rs.5 lakhs, depending on the cost of the work to be executed. The bidder should have completed similar works with a value of at least 90% of the original contract price. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover, defined as billing for works in progress and completed in all classes of civil engineering construction works only, in any one year, over the last five years of the annual value of contract/contracts applied for. The bidder should also have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90% completed as on the date of submission, with a gross value of work done up to the last date of submission being 90% or more of the original contract price. The required prior work experience for the bidder is related to the "Maximum value of work executed in any one year during the last five years". This is used to calculate the "Assessed Available Bid Capacity" using the formula: Assessed Available Bid Capacity = (A*N*2-B), where A = Maximum value of work executed in any one year during the last five years. The value of similar works completed is mentioned as at least 90% of the original contract price, and the percentage is 90%. The amount of similar works completed is at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract.
