The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - At least 90% completion of substantially completed works - Experience and resources sufficient to meet the aggregate of the qualification criteria for each contract - Actual figures of costs and amount for the works executed by the applicant - Enhancement factors for the costs of works executed and the financial figure to a common base value for works completed - A preliminary description of the proposed work method and schedule - A program of construction backed with equipment planning and deployment - Quality assurance procedures proposed to be adopted - Justification of the capability of execution and completion of work as per technical specifications, within the stipulated period of completion. The value and percentage of similar works completed are at least 90% of the original contract price for substantially completed works. The amount of similar works completed should be indicated by the applicant, and it will be considered along with the percentage of completion. Additionally, the bidder should have a minimum annual financial turnover in any one year, over the last five years, of the annual value of contract/contracts applied for. The bidder is also required to provide quantities of work executed as prime contractor or sub-contractor in the last five years, including project name, name of the employer, description of work, contract number, value of contract, date of issue of work order, stipulated period of completion, actual date of completion, and remarks explaining reasons for delay and work completed. The bidder needs to provide the value of contracts completed and the quantity of work executed, and attach certificates from the engineers-in-charge for the completed projects. The required experience for site engineers employed by the contractor varies based on the cost of the work. The bidder's available bid capacity should be at least equal to the evaluated bid price, and the bidder's prior work experience should include the execution of all main items of work described, with a performance security for an amount equal to 5% of the contract price.
