The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. The works should be at least 90% completed, with a gross value of work done up to the last date of submission being 90% or more of the original contract price. The bidder's experience as a prime contractor or nominated sub-contractor will be considered, provided the sub-contract involved execution of all main items of work described in the bid document. The bidder should have prior work experience of executing all main items of work described in the bid documents, provided that all other qualification criteria are satisfied. This experience should be in works of a similar nature over the last five years and in the current year before the submission of the bid. The bidder should have completed similar works, including cement concrete, masonry, earthworks, and bituminous work. The value of similar works completed should be at least 40 percent of the proposed contract value. The percentage of completion of similar works should be at least 90%. The bidder should also provide information on the total value of civil engineering constructions performed in the last five years, and details of specific projects completed, including the value of the contract, date of issue of work order, stipulated period of completion, and actual date of completion. In case a project has been executed by a joint venture, weight towards experience of the project would be given to each joint venture in proportion to their financial participation in the joint venture.
