The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90% completed. The works may have been executed by the applicant as prime contractor or as a member of a joint venture or as a nominated sub-contractor. The bidder should have total value of Civil engineering constructions work performed in the last five years. The information to be filled in by the Bidder includes the total value of work performed as prime contractor, work performed in the past as a nominated sub-contractor will also be considered, provided that all other qualification criteria are satisfied. The bidder needs to provide details of projects completed, including project name, name of the employer, description of work, contract number, value of contract, date of issue of work order, stipulated period of completion, actual date of completion, and remarks explaining reasons for delay and work completed. For joint ventures, the lead partner shall meet not less than 50 percent of all criteria, and the joint venture must collectively satisfy the criteria. The experience of the other joint venture partners shall be considered if it is not less than 30 percent of the qualifying criteria. The value of the contract is Rs. 8.35 Crore and the bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of the annual value of the contract/contracts applied for in any one year over the last five years, which is Rs. 20.86 Crore. The bidder should have liquid assets and/or availability of credit facilities of Rs. 5.22 Crore. The required prior work experience for the bidder includes at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract, with substantially completed works being at least 90% completed.
