The required prior work experience for the bidder is 5 years, including the current year, before the submission of the bid. The bidder should have completed works of a similar nature, with the sub-contract involving execution of all main items of work described in the bid document. The value and percentage of similar works completed are at least 90% of the original contract price. The bidder should provide a certificate from the employer submitted along with the application, including the name of the work, contract value, billing amount, date of commencement of works, satisfactory performance of the contractor, and any other relevant information. For joint ventures, the lead partner should meet not less than 50 percent of all criteria, and the joint venture must collectively satisfy the criteria. The experience of other joint venture partners shall be considered if it is not less than 30 percent of the qualifying criteria. In terms of specific values, the bidder's experience is categorized based on the cost of the work to be executed, with requirements including: - Two graduate Civil Engineers and three diploma Civil Engineers when the cost of the work is more than Rs.50 lakhs. - One graduate and two Diploma Civil Engineers when the cost of the work is more than Rs.15 lakhs but less than Rs.50 lakhs. - Minimum one Diploma Civil Engineer when the cost of work is less than Rs.15 lakhs but more than Rs.5 lakhs. - Minimum two Diploma Civil Engineers for the work when the cost of work to be executed is less than Rs.5 lakhs. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of the annual value of the contract/applied for, in any one year, over the last five years. Additionally, the bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. The amount of liquid assets (aggregate of working capital, cash in hand, and uncommitted bank guarantees) and/or credit facilities required is up to 25 percent of the value of the contract/contracts applied.
