RITES Limited Tender

The Eligibility requirements given in the tender are: 1. The Bidder should be a Private or Government Owned legal entity. 2. The Bidder should have valid registration with Employees Provident Fund organization under ‘EPF and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952’. 3. Only Class -I Local Suppliers are eligible to participate. 4. The Bidder should commit themselves to Integrity Pact. 5. The Bidder should not have a conflict of interest. 6. The Bidder should not be insolvent, in receivership, bankrupt or being wound up. 7. The Bidder should not have been declared as Poor Performer by RITES/REMCL. 8. The Bidder should not be currently declared ineligible/suspended/blacklisted/banned/debarred by RITES/REMCL or by any Central/State Government Department/Public Undertaking or Enterprise of Central/State Government. The values mentioned for Eligibility requirements are: - Rs. 10 crores: The threshold value for procurement, above which the 'Class-I local supplier' shall be required to provide a certificate from the statutory auditor or cost auditor of the company. - 50%: The minimum local content required. - 10%: The penalty percentage of the contract value that may be imposed if the contractor/supplier does not meet the stipulated local content requirement. Technical certification required by the bidder to participate in this tender: - Certificate from the statutory auditor or cost auditor of the company giving the percentage of local content. - Self-certification for local content in the quoted item at the time of tendering. - Local content certification duly certified by cost/chartered accountant in practice, to be provided at the time of execution of the project or after completion of the contract.
