The required prior work experience for the bidder includes execution of construction and/or repair of river embankment protection works, anti-rosion works for flood control measures, and/or reconstruction or protection of road embankments using non conventional materials. The bidder should have successfully completed or substantially completed similar works during the last five years. The specific requirements are:
1. Three similar completed works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost; 2. Two similar completed works costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost; 3. One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost. The bidder should also have experience in ecological restoration or sustainable development projects. The bidder must upload documents such as work order/allotment letter and completion certificate, which mentions the material used, as part of the similar work experience. The bidder is required to provide information about similar works executed/completed during the last 5 years, including details such as the name of the work, allotment/award number and date, name and address of the client, contract value, date of award and completion, and actual completion cost. A certificate from the client for the above information should be attached with the bid. Additionally, the bidder's average annual financial turnover should be at least 30% of the estimated cost of the tender during the last three consecutive financial years. The value of annual turnover figures shall be brought to current value by enhancing the actual turnover figures at a simple rate of 7% per annum.
