Event and Cultural Center Hermanni Ry is implementing the energy renovation of the Hermannitalo, a building of cultural and historical value, with co-financing from the European Union. The project significantly improves the energy efficiency of the Hermannitalo building and the renewal of the leaking roof ensures the preservation of the historic building. The roof of the Hermannitalo building will be completely renovated. The shortcomings in the thermal insulation of the upper floor of the ballroom section will be repaired. The wooden back wall will be demolished. The floor of the ballroom will be renovated and equipped with water-circulating floor heating. The demolished stone wall on the back yard side will be rebuilt. The partition wall on the back yard side will be built and a roof between it and the new wall will be built. A geothermal heating system will be built. A ventilation system will be built.
