The required prior work experience for the bidder involves completing specific categories of work during the last three financial years. The bidder must have completed at least one of the following: (i) three similar works costing not less than 15% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) two similar works costing not less than 20% of the advertised value of the tender, (iii) one similar work costing not less than 35% of the advertised value of the tender. The minimum cumulative turnover of the firm should be at least 150% of the estimated value during the last three consecutive financial years, and the bidder should be profit-making in each of these years. Similar work is defined as any work in connection with signaling installation, including railway signaling, and other related indoor and outdoor signaling work. The bidder needs to furnish documents such as a copy of the relevant work order, completion certificate, and other relevant documents, as well as a Chartered Accountant certificate, audited balance sheet, and profit/loss account for the last three financial years.
