The bidder is also required to provide information on their available bid capacity, which is calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years, and the number of years prescribed for completion of the project/works. The assessed available bid capacity is calculated as (A * N * 2 - B), where A is the maximum value of civil engineering works, N is the number of years, and B is the value of existing commitments. The bidder needs to provide an undertaking that their available bid capacity is more than the estimated value of the project/work.
