The bidder is required to have prior work experience in civil engineering works, specifically in areas such as roads, bridges, airports, railways, tunneling, or others. For qualification, the bidder must submit details about their experience in earthwork, granular sub-base/base, RE walls, and concrete in bridges. For works above Rs 5.00 Crore, the bidder should have satisfactorily completed at least one similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work, or two similar works each of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work, or three similar works each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work. The bidder must also provide a list of similar works completed during previous years, duly supported with performance certificates from the authority for whom the work has been completed, including the name of the work, estimated cost, date of start, and date of completion. Additionally, the bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover (in all classes of civil engineering construction works only) equal to 40% of the estimated cost of work in any one of the last three financial years immediately preceding the Financial Year in which bids are invited. The bidder is required to submit an undertaking that their available bid capacity is more than the estimated value of the project/work and they will be able to invest a minimum cash of up to 25% of the contract value of the work during implementation.
