The bidder is required to have a certain level of experience in civil engineering works, specifically in areas such as roads, bridges, airports, railways, tunneling, or others. They must have completed works of a certain value within the last five years. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed, in the last five years, one similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work, or two similar works each of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work, or three similar works each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work. Additionally, the bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of 40% of the estimated cost of work in any one of the last three financial years. For works from Rs. 0.50 lakh to Rs. 5.00 Crore, the bidder should have a valid enlistment with the relevant authorities. For works above Rs. 5.00 Crore, the bidder should have completed similar works during previous years. The bidder should provide information on the value of similar works completed and the percentage of the value of the whole works for sub-contracted works, if more than 10% of the value of the whole works. The bidder should also provide testimonials and certified copies of annual reports in support of their claim of having completed similar works. The bidder's available bid capacity should be more than the estimated value of the project, and they must submit an undertaking to this effect. The assessed available bid capacity is calculated using the formula: Assessed Available Bid Capacity = (A * N * 2 - B), where A is the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years, N is the number of years prescribed for completion of the project, and B is the value of existing commitments.
