The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - Project Manager: 3 to 5 Years Exp. after B.E. Civil - Site Engineer: 1 Years Exp. after B.E. Civil or 3 years Exp. after Diploma in Civil Engg - Plant Engineer: 1 years Exp. after B.E. Mech or 5 years Exp. after Dip. Mech - Quantity Surveyor: 1 years Exp. after B.E. Civil or 5 years Exp. after Dip. Civil - Soil & Material Engineer: 1 years Exp. after B.E. Civil or 5 years Exp. after Dip. Civil The value of similar work should be at least 1/3rd of the contract value, which is equivalent to 33.33% of the contract value. The bidder should have completed similar works with a completion rate of not less than 90% of the contract value. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of 67% of the DNIT value in any one year. However, there is a relaxation in the qualification criteria for unemployed Graduate/Diploma Engineers, where the minimum annual financial turnover requirement is relaxed to 25% of the DNIT. The bidder should also provide evidence of access to or availability of credit facilities, with a minimum of 10% of the notified contract value. The bidder is required to undertake an investment of minimum cash up to 25% of the value of the work during the implementation of the contract. The bidder should have a total monetary value of civil construction work performed for each of the last five years, and provide an audited Balance sheet signed by a qualified CA for the last five years, showing the amount received from civil contracts.
