The bidder is required to have prior work experience in works of a similar nature and size. They should have completed works of a similar nature as the proposed project within the last five years. The bidder should provide details of works underway or contractually committed, and clients who may be contacted for further information on those contracts. The bidder should have completed at least one similar work with a value of not less than one-third of the total estimated cost of work, and should have satisfactorily completed (not less than 90% of contract value) as a prime contractor. The bidder should have executed quantities of work done in any one year of the last five years, with a certificate issued by the authorized Engineer in-charge, and should have completed at least 40% of the estimated quantity of major items as detailed in the online Bill of Quantities. In terms of specific values and percentages, the bidder should have: - Achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of 60% of the total estimated cost of work if the amount put to bid is Rs. 200 lakhs or less. - Achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of 75% of the total estimated cost of work if the amount put to bid is more than Rs. 200 lakhs. - Completed similar works with a value of at least one-third of the total estimated cost of work. - Executed quantities of work done in any one year of the last five years, with a certificate issued by the authorized Engineer in-charge. - Completed at least 40% of the estimated quantity of major items as detailed in the online Bill of Quantities. The cost of completed works of previous years will be indexed at the rate of 10% per year based on rupee value to bring them to present price level. The bidder's available bid capacity will be calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years, updated to the price level of the year indicated, at a rate of inflation of 10% per year.
