The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - Project Manager: 3 to 5 Years Exp. after B.E. Civil - Site Engineer: 1 Years Exp. after B.E. Civil or 3 years Exp. after Diploma in Civil Engg - Plant Engineer: 1 years Exp. after B.E. Mech. or 5 years Exp. after Dip. Mech. - Quantity Surveyor: 1 years Exp. after B.E. Civil or 5 years Exp. after Dip. Civil - Soil & Material Engineer: 1 years Exp. after B.E. Civil or 5 years Exp. after Dip. Civil The bidder should have completed at least one similar work of value not less than 1/3 of the DNIT value, with a completion rate of not less than 90% of the contract value. The bidder should also have executed a minimum quantity of major items of work, usually not less than 40% of the estimated quantity, in any one year. Additionally, the bidder should have a minimum annual financial turnover of 67% of the DNIT value in any one year, and should have access to or availability of credit facilities, with a minimum of 10% of the notified contract value certified by the bankers. The bidder must also undertake that their firm would invest a minimum cash up to 25% of the value of the work during implementation of the Contract.
